Financial Risk Manager
Our client, a high growth insurance firm is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Financial Risk Manager to join their team. The successful applicant will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating various financial risks that face the business.
This role requires a strong understanding of the financial risk management of life insurance business, including risk mitigation techniques and ORSA.
The Role:

Identify, measure, monitor and assess financial risks and ensure all necessary processes are in place

Maintain the relevant policies and procedures

Analyse the potential impact of identified risks on the firm’s financial performance and develop risk metrics and models to quantify risk exposure.

Oversee the production of financial risk assessments, focusing on the company’s major business risks related to acquisitions and other strategic changes.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and policies to minimise the firm’ exposure to various financial risks.
The Person:

Proven experience working in a financial risk management role

Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills

Qualified risk professional who is highly analytical and forward thinking

Life insurance experience highly advantageous
