A hands-on finance role in a stable, growing business with a strong local presence.
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations. This role would suit a qualified accountant / finalist or similar, with solid experience managing accounts in a small to medium-sized business environment.
You’ll work closely with the leadership team, providing accurate, timely financial information to support decision-making and business performance
Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Maintain all financial records and general ledger entries via Sage 50

Process and submit VAT returns and other Revenue filings using ROS

Support reporting across sales margins and gross profit

Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting as needed.

Liaise with external accountants and auditors where required.
What You Bring

Fully qualified Accountant , Finalist or (ATI) or equivalent.

Minimum 4 years experience in a finance/accounts role.

Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 and ROS

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Comfortable working independently in a small team setting.

Confident communicator with a proactive approach.
