An Irish-headquartered global business is seeking a qualified accountant to join its growing Group Finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a broad and commercially impactful role, with responsibility for cost and financial systems development across a global business. You'll work with local and international teams, helping to drive efficiency, consistency, and high-quality reporting across the organisation.
The Role
You’ll support the financial and cost accounting function, contributing to the delivery of timely and insightful data for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, technically strong, and confident managing systems, data, and process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and monitor operational costs, standard costs, and margins
- Drive consistency and automation in cost accounting and reporting
- Support the enhancement and maintenance of core financial systems
- Review system interfaces and propose improvements to reduce manual work
- Lead account reconciliations and prepare audit documentation
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors
- Contribute to cross-functional finance projects
About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
- Strong experience in cost, commercial, or systems-focused finance roles
- Excellent Excel and Power BI skills
- Proven ability to manage and improve financial systems
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
This is a high-visibility role with great exposure to international operations, systems, and senior stakeholders.
