Financial Controller | Automotive Sector | Dublin
Our client, a well-established and growing business operating within the automotive sector, is seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to join its senior leadership team.
This is a key strategic hire offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function within a commercially driven and fast-paced environment.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, the successful candidate will play a central role in financial reporting, commercial analysis, operational performance, and supporting continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day finance function
- Oversee monthly management accounts, reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Provide commercial and operational financial insight to senior leadership
- Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and governance processes
- Monitor cashflow, reconciliations, and financial performance across the business
- Support strategic decision-making and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Liaise with external auditors, advisors, and key stakeholders
- Mentor and support members of the finance team
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within the motor, automotive, environment advantageous
