Kennedy & Partners Recruitment is working with an established and highly regarded organisation to appoint a Management Accountant on a fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of an experienced finance team, this is a broad Management Accountant position offering exposure across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:

Preparation of management accounts and financial reporting

Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

Sales, margin and cost analysis
-
Balance sheet reconciliations
-
VAT returns and related financial reporting
-
Supporting payment and account reconciliation processes
-
Working closely with stakeholders across the wider business

Supporting the annual audit process

Ensuring appropriate financial controls are maintained

Providing analysis and reporting to support business decisions
-
Supporting the Finance Manager across wider finance activities
The Person
We are looking for a part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with strong management accounting and analytical experience.
You will ideally have:

Previous experience within a Management Accountant or similar finance role

Strong management reporting and reconciliation experience

Exposure to budgeting and forecasting

Strong Excel and financial systems skills

Good analytical capability and attention to detail
-
Confidence communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders

A proactive and adaptable approach
