Senior Compliance Officer – Part-Time
Dublin | 3 Days per Week | Fixed-Term Contract to Year-End with possible extension.
€75,000 pro rata or DRC
Kennedy & Partners Recruitment is currently supporting an established Insurance firm in Dublin with the appointment of a Senior Compliance Officer on a part-time basis until the end of the year.
This is a 3-day-per-week position and would suit an experienced compliance professional seeking a shorter-term assignment or greater flexibility.
Working as part of an established Compliance function, the successful candidate will provide second-line compliance support across a broad range of regulatory and financial crime activities.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of the annual Compliance Plan
- Financial crime monitoring and reporting
- AML, PEP and sanctions-related activity
- Compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting
- Maintaining and updating compliance policies and procedures
- Providing regulatory and compliance advice to the wider business
- Supporting regulatory change and horizon-scanning activity
- Managing compliance trackers, logs and reporting
- Supporting senior Compliance stakeholders across ongoing activities and projects
The role has a particularly strong financial-crime element, including AML referrals, sanctions/PEP screening and customer risk-rating processes.
About You
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience within a regulated financial services environment
- Strong regulatory compliance experience
- Good knowledge of financial crime, AML and associated monitoring requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and report-writing capability
- Previous experience in insurance or reinsurance is advantageous but experience in the wider financial services market will also be considered.
